Sweet kitty sugar cookies topped with icing and holiday sprinkles!

More About This Recipe

  • Easy sugar cookies start off plain but transform to the world’s cutest Christmas treats.

Who doesn’t want a fluffy little kitty for Christmas? I do! But I can’t. Because I’m highly allergic and my beagle wouldn’t approve. But I can have these!

These cookies are so Christmassy with a sweet little kitten popping out of a Christmas present -- it just doesn’t get any cuter than that!

Christmas sugar cookies are usually made in your standard tree or star shape, but if you want to kick up the Christmas cuteness, these kitty-in-a-box cookies are just the thing!

Can’t tell you how much I love Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix. So easy to prep!

Roll out the dough and cut out some square and cat shapes with your cookie cutters.

You only need the cat heads so place those on top of the squares. They’ll all bake up together and the cuteness will begin!

Cool your cookies and then squeeze out some white icing on the cat heads.

Now squeeze some red or green icing on the square part of the cookie. Spread to cover.

    Decorate with sprinkles!

Squeeze 2 small dollops of white icing on top of the present so it looks like itty bitty kitty paws are sticking out of the gift. SO CUTE!

When the icing is set, draw in cute little cat faces with the black edible marker. Awwwww….

Add some sprinkles for the bow on the cat’s ear for the finishing touch!

Not only are these super fun to make, they are almost too adorable to eat.

They make a great hostess gift too!
