Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Spice Cake Mix
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray and lightly flour. Prepare the cake according to package directions, then bake for 28 to 33 minutes.

    Add brown sugar, butter, and water to a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until all ingredients are melted.

    Poke the cake with a fork or toothpick and pour hot syrup all over cake. Let cool.
