More About This Recipe

  • These pizza rolls take the shape of pretty pinwheels, and they'll spin your idea of just how easy these little snacks are to make at home.

How many times have you been asked, “If you could eat just one thing everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?” My answer has and will always be…pizza. Can I figure out a way to sneak a daily dose of chocolate in there too?

Well if I’m going to eat pizza every day, some variations are needed to keep things interesting. These Pizza Rolls have all the elements of a classic pizza rolled up, baked, and dipped into warm marinara sauce.

My husband is gone a lot this time of year for his job, which leaves me with just little palates to please for dinner. My kids think I’m the bomb when I fix hot dogs for dinner, and fancy dishes like Chicken Marsala are wasted on them. Although I do try to cater to kid-friendly fare, I can’t feed my kids hot dogs every night.

These Pizza Rolls paired with a salad or some steamed broccoli are a perfect meal to keep everyone happy. Kids love to dip food in condiments like ketchup and ranch, so dipping these pizza rolls in marinara sauce is right up their alley.

This is a great meal to get your kids involved in. Get them in the kitchen, with clean hands of course, and let them sprinkle and roll up these pizza rolls. My boys jumped at the chance to help out.

Just sprinkle all of your toppings in an even layer on Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust, along with some garlic salt and basil for some flavor. Roll it up and cut into miniature rolls ready to be popped into the oven.

Then let your kids start dipping these cheesy pepperoni rolls in warm marinara sauce!
