More About This Recipe

  • This agua fresca with fresh strawberries and lime juice is so refreshing, we're pretty sure it'll be your new go-to drink for hot summer days. Every BBQ seems to have some lemonade. Go against that and splash this summery drink in everyone’s faces. It’s perfect on its own or with some booze. And you aren’t stuck in the kitchen juicing a million lemons! There are some super ripe strawberries, sugar, and limes. I know limes are super expensive right now – the good news is that you can easily swap ‘em out with a lemon. Serve over ice with some strawberry and lime slices and drink the entire pitcher yourself. If you wanted to make it boozy you could mix 6 ounces of the agua fresca and 1 or 2 ounces of tequila or vodka. Another option is the chia seed craze. Just a couple tablespoons of the seeds added to the pitcher and ten minutes later you’ve got a fun drink that has a little extra boost.
