A Thanksgiving leftover-inspired meal. Turkey dinner served over crispy French fries!

More About This Recipe

  • Thanksgiving dinner and poutine combine to make the ultimate comfort food feast! Turkey, dried cranberries, and rich gravy are the perfect topper for crispy French fries. I served my kids lunch the other day and my youngest asked if it was Thanksgiving. Um, no. But it sure tasted like it! I made a special poutine that’s basically Thanksgiving dinner served over French fries. If that isn’t the best turkey dinner ever, I don’t know what is. I mean, I’m not the type of person that is going to make a full-on Thanksgiving dinner more than once a year, because I'm lazy. That doesn’t mean that I don’t crave those dinners, though! This recipe is a ridiculously easy way to handle those Turkey Day cravings. Add any of your favorite Thanksgiving veggies to this dish to dress it up. Corn, peas, and green beans would all make great toppings. You guys. This is Thanksgiving in one bite right here.
