    But why buy flatbread when you can easily make it at home? You need only two ingredients to make a tasty, easy flatbread that will thrill your guests. And making it? Simple. Unroll the dough (I like to use Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet), season and bake. In less than 20 minutes, your flatbread is ready to go.

    Flatbread Sandwiches

    I am a big fan of sandwich bars for parties – particularly luncheon parties. Lay out a selection of deli meats, cheese and other fillings. And have a stack of flatbread triangles ready to go for the sandwich building.

    Flatbread dippers

    Come on and dip just a little bit … what, am I the only child of the 80s here? Corny puns aside, flatbread is perfect for dipping. Cut yours into small pieces (about 1” at the longest part) and offer hummus, tapenade or something else to either dip it in or spoon on.

    Flatbread with Soup

    Hey, fall will be here before we know it. And with fall comes soup season. Make up a tasty batch of something creamy (perhaps potato leek soup?) and serve flatbread to go with it. You can lay out big coffee cups for your party guests to ladle their soup into, and saucers are perfect for holding the flatbread.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
  • Garlic salt

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil or parchment paper.

    Open the crescent dough can and break the dough into four rectangles. Arrange on the baking sheet. Sprinkle liberally with garlic salt.

    Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden.
