Gingerbread House Bark

Have all the fun of decorating a gingerbread house, without worrying about your homebuilding skills. This gingerbread house bark is just as pretty as the real thing, and takes a fraction of the time to make.

Gingerbread House Bark

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 bags (12 oz each) white chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 cups lightly crushed gingersnap cookies
  • 1 cup gumdrops
  • 1/2 cup coated chocolate candies, such as Sixlets™ or M&M's®
  • 1 cup soft peppermint candies, cut in half lengthwise

Instructions

    Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place white chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered for 2-3 minutes. Stir, and continue heating in short intervals until chocolate is smooth and glossy when you stir it.

    Pour chocolate out onto parchment and use a large rubber spatula to spread in a thin, even layer (about 1/4 inch thick).

    Immediately sprinkle crushed gingersnaps over chocolate, followed by the gumdrops, chocolate candies and soft peppermints.

    Let stand about 30 minutes or until firm, or refrigerate if necessary. Break into 2-inch pieces. Store covered at room temperature.
