Basil? In a drink? You bet! The unexpected combo of basil and watermelon is such a refreshing, tasty way to celebrate the flavors of summer. And this non-alcoholic LaCroix™ mocktail is the greatest way we can think of to stay hydrated all summer long.

Watermelon-Basil Lime LaCroix™ Cooler

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe watermelon chunks
  • 3 large basil leaves, torn into pieces, plus additional for garnish
  • 6 oz (1/2 can) LaCroix™ natural sparkling water Lime flavor
  • Lime wedge, for garnish

Instructions

    Using an immersion blender or a potato masher, puree the watermelon until completely smooth.

    Pour the watermelon puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp or seeds. Measure out 1/2 cup of the watermelon juice.

    Fill a highball glass with ice, sprinkling in the torn up basil leaves as you fill. Pour over the watermelon juice.

    Pour in the LaCroix™ and gently stir to mix. Garnish with basil and lime.
